The set increases performance due to less restricted flow through the cats and lowered backpressure, resulting in increased power. Sound levels will also be enhanced, with an increase of 10 dB in external sound performance, emphasizing the character of the engine to provide more of the traditional V8 flat crank feel. When fitting the optional link pipe set with catalytic converters, remapping the car’s ECU is necessary.
